50M CROSS BOW ROUND The cros sbow shoot is a NON Record status round.
\n

Crossbow will be shot on a 60cm face at 50m\, with 2 faces to a boss.
\n

Bolts will be shot in ends of 6 in 4 minutes\, in accordance with the WA720 Rules
\n

\n
Normal 10 zone scoring will apply .

Rul e 104. Crossbow Safety\n
\n
(a) A crossbow may NOT be drawn or cocked except on the shooting line and in the direction of the targets \, after the arbalist has ensured that the field is clear both in front of and behind the targets.
\n
(b) If shooting is interrupted for any reason\, crossbows shall be lowered immediately so that they are directed at the ground immediately in front of the shooting line and the bolt remov ed.
\n
(c) No person less than 12 years of age may shoot or manipul ate a crossbow.
\n
\n
\n
Rule 210. Crossbow\n
\n
(a) A crossbow stock may be made from any safe material and m ust be fitted with a mechanical trigger. Prods\, which may be made of any material except metal\, shall not exceed 900mm in length when the crossbow is strung.
\n
(b) The draw weight at the string latch shall be no more than 95lbs (43 kg). The draw weight and draw length mu st be clearly marked on the prod. The clean draw length\ , measured from the string to the string latch shall be no more than 300mm
\n
(c) The bow must be fitted with a bolt retaining clip.
\n(d) A string may be made of any non-metallic material.\n
(e) Bol ts may be made of any material and of such design as not to cause unreason able damage to the target. Bolt length is minimum 12 inches\, maximum 15 i nches. Three fletchings\, feather or plastic\, shall be fitted.
\n
(f) Telescopic or magnifying sights are not allowed.
\n
(g) The fol lowing are permitted:\n
\n
(i) Foot stirrups attached to the bow.\n
(ii) Stabilizers.
\n
(iii) Palm rest.
\n
(iv) A butt hook that does not rest directly on top of the shoulder and is no more th an 150mm in length.
\n
\n
\n
(h) The length between the bac k sight and the front sight shall not exceed 720mm.
\n
(j) All cros sbows must be drawn by hand. The use of cocking aids\, gloves or fingersta lls is not permitted.
\n
(k) Pistol crossbows are not permitted.\n
(l) Crossbow and the Law. When travelling on public transport or w alking in a public thoroughfare it is essential that the prod be removed a nd the stock and prod be carried in a case or cover.

Crossbow competitors (arbalists) will shoot on their own boss\, n ot mixed with other bow styles. . Each arbalist will shoot on their own f ace to reduce the risk of Bolt Damage.

50M CROSS BOW ROUND The crossbow shoot is a NON Record status round.
\n
\n
Crossbow will be shot on a 60cm face at 50m\, with 2 faces to a boss.

Bolts wi ll be shot in ends of 6 in 4 minutes\, in accordance with the WA720 Rules

Normal 10 zone scoring will apply.

Rule 104. Crossbow Safety\n
\n
(a) A crossbow may N OT be drawn or cocked except on the shooting line and in the direction of the targets\, after the arbalist has ensured that the field is clear both in front of and behind the targets.
\n
(b) If shooting is interrupt ed for any reason\, crossbows shall be lowered immediately so that they ar e directed at the ground immediately in front of the shooting line and the bolt removed.
\n
(c) No person less than 12 years of age may shoot or manipulate a crossbow.
\n
\n
\n
Rule 210. Cross bow\n
\n
(a) A crossbow stock may be made from any safe mat erial and must be fitted with a mechanical trigger. Prods\, which may be m ade of any material except metal\, shall not exceed 900mm in length when t he crossbow is strung.
\n
(b) The draw weight at the string latch s hall be no more than 95lbs (43 kg). The draw weight and dra w length must be clearly marked on the prod. The clean d raw length\, measured from the string to the string latch shall be no more than 300mm
\n
(c) The bow must be fitted with a bolt retaining cli p.
\n
(d) A string may be made of any non-metallic material.
\n
(e) Bolts may be made of any material and of such design as not to cau se unreasonable damage to the target. Bolt length is minimum 12 inches\, m aximum 15 inches. Three fletchings\, feather or plastic\, shall be fitted.
\n
(f) Telescopic or magnifying sights are not allowed.
\n
(g) The following are permitted:\n
\n
(i) Foot stirrups attached to the bow.
\n
(ii) Stabilizers.
\n
(iii) Palm rest.
\n
(iv) A butt hook that does not rest directly on top of the shoulder and is no more than 150mm in length.
\n
\n
\n
(h) The length betw een the back sight and the front sight shall not exceed 720mm.
\n
( j) All crossbows must be drawn by hand. The use of cocking aids\, gloves o r fingerstalls is not permitted.
\n
(k) Pistol crossbows are not pe rmitted.
\n
(l) Crossbow and the Law. When travelling on public tra nsport or walking in a public thoroughfare it is essential that the prod b e removed and the stock and prod be carried in a case or cover.

Crossbow competitors (arbalists) will shoot on their o wn boss\, not mixed with other bow styles. . Each arbalist will shoot on their own face to reduce the risk of Bolt Damage.

Rule 104. Crossbow Safety\n

(a) A crossbo w may NOT be drawn or cocked except on the shooting line and in the direct ion of the targets\, after the arbalist has ensured that the field is clea r both in front of and behind the targets.

(b) If shooting is in terrupted for any reason\, crossbows shall be lowered immediately so that they are directed at the ground immediately in front of the shooting line and the bolt removed.
\n
(c) No person less than 12 years of age ma y shoot or manipulate a crossbow.
\n

Rule 210 . Crossbow\n
\n
(a) A crossbow stock may be made from any s afe material and must be fitted with a mechanical trigger. Prods\, which m ay be made of any material except metal\, shall not exceed 900mm in length when the crossbow is strung.
\n
(b) The draw weight at the string latch shall be no more than 95lbs (43 kg). The draw weight and draw length must be clearly marked on the prod. The clean draw length\, measured from the string to the string latch shall be no more than 300mm
\n
(c) The bow must be fitted with a bolt retain ing clip.
\n
(d) A string may be made of any non-metallic material.
\n
(e) Bolts may be made of any material and of such design as not to cause unreasonable damage to the target. Bolt length is minimum 12 inc hes\, maximum 15 inches. Three fletchings\, feather or plastic\, shall be fitted.
\n
(f) Telescopic or magnifying sights are not allowed.
\n
(g) The following are permitted:\n
\n
(i) Foot stirrups attac hed to the bow.
\n
(ii) Stabilizers.
\n
(iii) Palm rest.
\n
(iv) A butt hook that does not rest directly on top of the shoulder and is no more than 150mm in length.
\n
\n
\n
(h) The leng th between the back sight and the front sight shall not exceed 720mm.
\n
(j) All crossbows must be drawn by hand. The use of cocking aids\, g loves or fingerstalls is not permitted.
\n
(k) Pistol crossbows are not permitted.
\n
(l) Crossbow and the Law. When travelling on pub lic transport or walking in a public thoroughfare it is essential that the prod be removed and the stock and prod be carried in a case or cover.
\n

\n
Crossbow competitors (arbalists) will shoot on their own boss\, not mixed with other bow styles. . Each arbalist will sh oot on their own face to reduce the risk of Bolt Damage.

(b) If shooting is interrupted for any reason\, crossbows shall be lowered immediately so that they are dire cted at the ground immediately in front of the shooting line and the bolt removed.

(c) No person less than 12 years of age may shoot or ma nipulate a crossbow.

~~Rule 210. Crossbow~~\n
\n
(a) A crossbow stock may be made from any safe material and must be fitted with a mechanical trigger. Prods\, which may be made of any material except metal\, shall not exceed 900mm in length when the cro ssbow is strung.
\n
(b) The draw weight at the string latch shall b e no more than 95lbs (43 kg). The draw weight and draw leng th must be clearly marked on the prod. The clean draw le ngth\, measured from the string to the string latch shall be no more than 300mm
\n
(c) The bow must be fitted with a bolt retaining clip.
\n
(d) A string may be made of any non-metallic material.
\n
(e ) Bolts may be made of any material and of such design as not to cause unr easonable damage to the target. Bolt length is minimum 12 inches\, maximum 15 inches. Three fletchings\, feather or plastic\, shall be fitted.
\n
(f) Telescopic or magnifying sights are not allowed.
\n
(g) T he following are permitted:\n
\n
(i) Foot stirrups attached to the b ow.
\n
(ii) Stabilizers.
\n
(iii) Palm rest.
\n
(iv) A butt hook that does not rest directly on top of the shoulder and is no m ore than 150mm in length.
\n
\n
\n
(h) The length between t he back sight and the front sight shall not exceed 720mm.
\n
(j) Al l crossbows must be drawn by hand. The use of cocking aids\, gloves or fin gerstalls is not permitted.
\n
(k) Pistol crossbows are not permitt ed.
\n
(l) Crossbow and the Law. When travelling on public transpor t or walking in a public thoroughfare it is essential that the prod be rem oved and the stock and prod be carried in a case or cover.

Crossbow competitors (arbalists) will shoot on their own bo ss\, not mixed with other bow styles. . Each arbalist will shoot on their own face to reduce the risk of Bolt Damage.
