Silverspoon St George – Shoot Report

On Sunday 28 April Bryan and Steve travelled with their longbows to Spalding to a tournament hosted by Silver Spoon Bowmen.
The round was a St George, 3 dozen each at 100, 80 and 60 yards, with shorter rounds available.
The weather was chilly, with a wind that was strong enough to reduce scores by 10 points a dozen at the longer distances (but not strong enough to blow bosses over or uproot tents!)
At the cost of a broken arrow Steve put in a 306 to win the gents longbow by a narrow margin.
